What Partners Are Responsible For

While SpurrOpen provides the Partner API, ticket inventory management, and ticket issuance, partners are responsible for building and managing their own customer-facing experience.

  • Designing and maintaining the user interface where events and tickets are displayed
  • Collecting payments using their own payment systems (online, cash, card, mobile, or other methods)
  • Remitting collected payments to SpurrOpen using the agreed payment method and settlement schedule
  • Handling customer communications related to payment and checkout
  • Managing order state and retry logic within their system
  • Providing first-line customer support for their customers

SpurrOpen handles ticket fulfillment and delivery once an order is successfully confirmed.

Typical Integration Timeline

  • Week 1: Account setup and credentials
  • Weeks 2–3: Development and testing
  • Week 4: User acceptance testing
  • Week 5: Go-live preparation
  • Week 6: Production launch
